7th Semester BSc Nursing Students Organize Child Health Screening Camp

As a part of Community Health Nursing posting, we 7th semister bsc nursing students from moodlakatte college of nursing conducted a health screening program at the Anganwadi Centre Kota, on the topic “Growth, Nutrition, and Child Wellness.” The program was inaugurated by Dr. Madhav Pai, Administrative Medical Officer, Community Health Centre, Kota. The program aimed to assess the growth and nutritional status of children and identify health problems at an early stage. Various parameters, including height, weight, nutritional status, immunization status, and general health condition, were assessed. Health education was provided to parents regarding balanced nutrition, growth monitoring, immunization, hygiene, and child wellness. The program helped promote awareness about child health and emphasized the importance of regular health screening for the early detection and prevention of health problems.
