IMJ Institutions, in association with KMC Hospital, Mangalore, conducted a Heart Health Screening Camp for teaching and non-teaching staff at the Health Science Block. Held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the camp benefited around 140 faculty and staff members.The program was presided over by Dr. S. N. Bhat, with Dr. Samrudha Rai, Consultant Cardiologist, KMC Hospital, as the Chief Guest. The event was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp and was attended by principals, heads of departments, and staff from various institutions.The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Ramakrishna Hegde, Principal and Brand Building Director of the Engineering College; the Principal of the Nursing College, Prof. Jennifer Freeda Menezes; Dr. Prathibha Patel, Principal of the Degree College; the Principal of the Paramedical College; Prof. Hemalatha.The initiative aimed to promote awareness and preventive care for cardiovascular health and was well appreciated by the participants. The program was organized by Prof. Chandrashekar, HOD of Pediatrics, and Mr. Partha Sarathi J. Palemar. The program was hosted by Ms. Akshatha, Lecturer, College of Nursing.
