Report on Induction Programme

The Induction Programme for newly admitted B.Sc. Nursing students was held from 13th to 18th October 2025 at Moodalakotte College of Nursing, Moodalakotte, organized by the Faculty of Nursing. The programme aimed to orient first-year students to the academic environment, curriculum, institutional values, and professional ethics of nursing while promoting holistic development. It began on 13th October with the Course Inauguration, marking the formal start of the academic year. On 14th October, campus and department orientation was conducted by Mrs. Roopashree K. S., followed by course orientation by Mr. Chandrashekar and sessions on holistic health and nutrition. The 15th October programme included sessions on grievance redressal, ethical practices, self-reflection, and confidence building, along with a hospital visit for clinical exposure. On 16th October, students participated in yoga, followed by talks on freedom from addiction and the role of AI in healthcare. Cultural activities showcasing students’ creativity were held on 17th October. A session on digital well-being and mental health concluded the academic sessions on the same day. Cultural Day was celebrated on 18th October to highlight the talents of freshers. The programme concluded successfully under the coordination of Mrs. Roopashree K. S., Vice Principal, and Mrs. Anjali M. M., Class Coordinator, inspiring students to uphold nursing values and ethics.
