The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Moodlakatte College of Nursing, organized a session on SBA Module & Safe Delivery App on 25th February 2026 at 9:00 AM in the OBG lab. The session aimed to enhance the knowledge and clinical skills of nursing students in safe maternity care. The session highlighted the importance of the Skilled Birth Attendant (SBA) guidelines in reducing maternal and neonatal mortality. Key topics included management of normal labor and identification of obstetric complications. A detailed explanation of emergency management protocols was provided. The Safe Delivery App was demonstrated to show its practical application in clinical settings. Students were guided on using the app for evidence-based decision-making during childbirth. The session was interactive and helped clarify students’ doubts. Overall, the programme was informative and strengthened students’ confidence in providing safe and effective maternal care.
