As a part of Community Health Nursing posting, we 7th semester BSc Nursing students from Moodlakatte College of nursing moodlakatte conducted a health screening program at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Kota, on the topic “Eye Wellness for Adults.” The program was inaugurated by Dr. Madhav Pai, Administrative Medical Officer, Community Health Centre, Kota. The main objective of the program was to assess the eye health status of adults and identify common vision-related problems at an early stage. During the screening, comprehensive eye examinations were conducted, including assessment of visual acuity and identification of common eye disorders. In addition to eye screening, blood pressure (BP) and blood sugar tests were performed to detect hypertension and diabetes, which are important risk factors affecting eye health. Participants were educated about maintaining good eye hygiene, the importance of regular eye check-ups, controlling blood pressure and blood sugar levels, cons.
