The Department of Training & Placement Cell of Moodlakatte College of Nursing (MCN), Kundapura, successfully organized a placement drive for the 2025–26 placement batch on 2nd July 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The recruitment drive was conducted in collaboration with Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad, one of India’s leading multi-specialty healthcare institutions.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to the recruitment team by the college management, faculty members, and students. The presence of distinguished nursing leaders made the event highly informative and inspiring.
The recruitment team comprised:
Ms. Swathi Meda, General Manager – Nursing, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad.
Ms. Prathyusha Chowdary, Head – Nursing Education & Training and Nursing Recruitments, Yashoda Hospitals.
During the session, the recruiters introduced students to Yashoda Hospitals, highlighting its advanced healthcare services, nursing excellence, career growth opportunities, professional development programs, and employee benefits. They also explained the recruitment process, eligibility criteria, training opportunities, and expectations from newly recruited nurses.
Students actively participated in the interaction, asking questions related to career progression, work environment, specialization opportunities, and continuing education. The recruiters addressed all queries and encouraged students to pursue excellence in nursing practice.
The placement drive provided final-year nursing students with an excellent opportunity to explore employment prospects in a reputed healthcare organization. It also strengthened the partnership between Moodlakatte College of Nursing and Yashoda Hospitals, opening new avenues for future placements.
A significant highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IMJ Institutions and Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad. The MoU was signed to strengthen academic and professional collaboration, facilitate student placements, provide training opportunities, promote knowledge exchange, and enhance career development prospects for nursing students.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Yashoda Hospitals recruitment team for their valuable time, guidance, and support. The college appreciated their commitment to recruiting skilled nursing professionals and wished the students success in their placement journey.
