The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, Moodlakatte College of Nursing, Kundapura, organized a Model Exhibition on 7th August 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the classroom as part of the World Breastfeeding Week 2026 celebration.

The exhibition was conducted under the theme “Breastfeeding for a Sustainable Start in Life: Strengthen What Works.” All 6th Semester B.Sc. Nursing students actively participated by preparing and exhibiting informative models on Breastfeeding, Lactation, and Newborn Care. The exhibition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, promote creativity, and create awareness about the importance of breastfeeding in ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and infants.

Faculty members and students visited the exhibition, appreciated the innovative models, and interacted with the participants. The event successfully highlighted the significance of breastfeeding and encouraged students to contribute towards promoting healthy practices in the community.
