As per the circular issued by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Karnataka, the live streaming of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s address on “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” (Drug-Free India Campaign) was organized at Moodlakatte College of Nursing on Sunday, 02 August 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

The program was conducted to create awareness regarding substance abuse prevention and to promote a healthy, drug-free society. The live telecast was arranged in the seminar hall with proper audio-visual facilities and internet connectivity.

The Principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students attended the live session. During the address, the Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized the importance of preventing drug abuse, encouraging youth participation in building a drug-free India, creating awareness among communities, and promoting healthy lifestyles.

The participants listened attentively to the session and understood the significance of individual and collective responsibility in preventing substance abuse. The program concluded successfully with a renewed commitment to support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan and spread awareness about the harmful effects of drugs.
