Moodlakatte College of Nursing, Kundapura  conducted World Environment Day on 05/06/2024 at 10:00am in Government Higher Primary School, Moodlakatte and theme for this year Environment Day is “Our Land Our Future”.

The was hosted by Sincy II year B.Sc nursing, the programme was encompassed with introduction of topic by the host.

The guest invited to the event was Mrs. Nagaveni Headmistress Government Higher Primary School, Moodlakatte, faculties and students of primary School, Moodlakatte and MCN Kundapura. Ms. Sincy II year B.Sc nursing, has welcome the dignitaries and the programme was started with prayer song.

The chief guest Mrs. Nagaveni Headmistress addressed the gathering, emphasizing the crucial role of the environment and the need for the conservation and also gave speech on importance of environment preservation for future generation.

On the occasion of Environmental Day Ms. Divya II year BSc Nursing delivers a health education on what role of the event plays and why it is important for people to take initiative to save the environment.

A tree plantation drive was also initiated with 5 trees being planted in the school campus. A students of II year BSc Nursing was conducted several activities and games to the students of Government Higher Primary School, Moodlakatte.

The day concluded with prize distribution to all the winners, followed by snacks distribution to the children and to the faculty of government higher primary school Moodlakatte and vote of thanks at the end.
