The Staff Development Committee of Moodlakatte College of Nursing (MCN), Kundapura, organized a Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World Health Day on 7th April. The program was conducted with the objective of encouraging students to express their creativity and raise awareness about health and science. The theme of the competition was “Together for Health: Stand with Science.” The competition was held in the classroom from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, and each participant presented their ideas creatively through posters based on the given theme. The competition was conducted following specific guidelines. Participation was individual, and students were given a time limit of two hours to complete their posters. They used materials such as pencils, crayons, color pencils, and sketch pens, which they brought themselves. Chart papers were provided by the organizers. Strict instructions were followed to ensure originality, and no copying or tracing was allowed. The use of mobile phones was strictly prohibited during the competition. The students actively engaged in the activity and showcased their artistic skills along with their understanding of health-related concepts. The posters reflected innovative ideas, awareness about health issues, and the importance of science in maintaining well-being. At the end of the competition, the best posters were selected and awarded prizes. The first prize was awarded 1500, and the second prize was awarded 1000.₹ ₹ The program concluded successfully, fulfilling its purpose of promoting awareness about health and encouraging creativity among students. It was an enriching and informative experience for all participants.
