The Department of Grievance Committee, Moodlakatte College of Nursing, organized a special session on “Grievance Redressal in Nursing: Empowering Student Voices and Ensuring Ethical Practice” for the 1st-year B.Sc. Nursing students. The aim of the event was to provide a fair and transparent platform for addressing and resolving student issues, ensuring justice, ethical practices, and a positive learning environment. The program was held at Health Science Block . The session was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Suchitra Dinesh Poojari, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Management Studies, Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapura, who served as the resource person. The event was also honored by Prof. Jennifer Freda Menezes, Principal, Mrs. Roopashree K. S., Vice-Principal, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff members. Their presence added great value to the program. The session commenced with an insightful talk by Dr. Suchitra Dinesh Poojari, who emphasized the importance of empowering students to express their concerns freely and ensuring transparency in the process of grievance resolution. She highlighted how an effective grievance redressal system contributes to maintaining a healthy and ethical academic environment. The students actively participated throughout the session, making it both interactive and meaningful. Ms. Akshatha, Lecturer, served as the host of the program. As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to Dr. Suchitra Dinesh Poojari by the organizing committee. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
