The World Kidney Day was celebrated on 17th March 2026 at Chinmayi Hospital, Kundapura, organized by the Department of Adult health nuring ,Moodlakatte College of Nursing. The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, which was gracefully performed by the Nursing Superintendent Iyeda Almeda and mr. Pradeep kumar ,quality head along with Lecturer Mrs. Anjali and Ms. Rakshitha. The event aimed to create awareness about kidney health under the theme “Kidney Health for All: Caring People, Protecting the Planet.” The program was effectively conducted by the 2nd year nursing students. The Master of Ceremony (MC) was carried out by Ms. Rakshitha and Ms. Nikitha, who managed the event smoothly and engagingly. Various activities like role play , slideshow, flash card ,chart and informative sessions were conducted to highlight the importance of kidney care and preventive measures. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Chiranjivi, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for making the event successful. Overall, the program was informative, well-organized, and successful in spreading awareness about kidney health.
