Moodlakatte College of Nursing, in collaboration with Primary Health Centre Basroor, celebrated World Environment day on 05-06-2025. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Vidya Ashok, Medical Officer of Primary Health Centre, Shri Dhinakar Shetty, President of Basroor Grama Panchayat, and college lecturers Akshata and Chethana.

BSc Nursing 5th semester student Bharathi spoke about the significance of World Environment Day. Dr. Vidya Ashok highlighted the adverse effects of plastic pollution on the environment. Shri Dhinakar Shetty, President of Basroor Grama Panchayat, emphasized the importance of environmental awareness and responsibility among the public and flagged off the awareness rally.

BSc Nursing 5th semester students conducted a clean-up drive to raise awareness among the public. The event was attended by students, Primary Health Centre staff, and local villagers.

Ms.Nikita welcomed the guests, while Ms.Divya proposed a vote of thanks. Ms.Sincy compered the program.
