Mr. Mohammad Sameer, Director of Physical Education, Janata Independent PU College, Hemmadi, inaugurated the meet by lighting the sports torch, saying, 'Sports are an integral part of human being because it keeps us healthy, prosperous and active. We can have a healthy mind only when we have a healthy body'. Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, Director, Brand Building IMJ Institutions presided over the program and encouraged the students. Principal Jennifer Frieda Menezes wished the students for better sports performance. Mr. Praveen Kharvi, Director of Physical Education presented the Annual Sports Report. Students did a Highly disciplined March fast in four teams with colourful uniforms.
